The character of the Island in an outstandingly smooth Fine Cognac.
A FRUITFUL ENCOUNTER
Since 1863, five generation of the CAMUS family have dedicated themselves to the same philosophy: delighting connoisseurs of exceptional products with the great diversity and richness that the Cognac region has to offer.
In the ongoing quest to offer consumers new tastes, discovering the vineyard of the Ile de Ré was a revelation that enabled CAMUS to create the CAMUS ILE DE RE FINE ISLAND COGNAC range.
ILE DE RÉ
The Ile de Ré lies off the west coast of France, close to the historic port of La Rochelle, in the Charente-Maritime «département» of France.
Born of the Bois à Terroirs vineyards on the Ile de Ré, the most northerly part of the delimited Cognac region, the Fine Island Cognac range reveals a world of unexpected aromas, flavours and personality, bestowed on them by this insular environment.
Beyond exceptional eaux-de-vie, the Ile de Ré island is also recognised as an incomparably fertile land, producing unique products such as the precious salt, distinctive new potatoes and richly flavoured oysters.
